Motorcarlease proudly presents this 964 RS painted in Maritime Blue
This vehicle was purchased from a collector in Germany who built this car up as a track monster on weekends and at the same time, an enthusiast drivers car
- This Porsche 964 Carrera RS is a track-focused build, incorporating various performance and weight-saving upgrades.
- It is powered by a naturally aspirated flat-six, increased from its original 3.6-litre displacement to 3.8-litre capacity, driving the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission.
- This example was originally a German-market car, which is now located in Canada, where it has been with the seller for three years. It is currently registered.
- This 964-era 911 Carrera RS is understood to be one of 2,282 examples delivered worldwide.
- The 964-era 911 Carrera RS was based on the Carrera 2, and was produced to homologate the model for Group N and GT events. In the interest of weight-saving, the car featured manually adjustable lightweight bucket seats, manually operated windows and door mirrors, and the omission of the air conditioning, rear seats, sound insulation and alarm systems, saving around 100kg over the standard model.
- This example is finished in the bold shade of Maritime Blue with contrasting silver decals on the bonnet, over an interior featuring a body-coloured roll cage, black leatherette trim, black fabric for the bucket seats, and blue fabric door pulls.
- It rides on a set of 18-inch five-spoke split-rim alloy wheels finished in silver with polished barrels, framing red Porsche-branded brake callipers, and fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres.
- This example has been enhanced with RSR-style fibreglass doors, front bonnet, and rear decklid, 911 Turbo front brakes, Euro RS specification coilovers, a Cargraphic exhaust system with equal-length headers and catalytic converters, quick-release bonnet and engine lid catches, aerodynamic door mirrors, an Alcantara-trimmed Momo steering wheel, a full roll cage, lightweight Recaro bucket seats, OMP harnesses, drilled aluminium pedals, Perspex side windows, and aftermarket lightweight door cards with fabric door pulls.
